(Press Release) (Web link) Comma, a 9 ft. tall kinetic sculpture by Lee Badger was installed at the corner of Salem Avenue and Market Street in Roanoke, VA. The Roanoke Arts Commission hosted a meet-the-artist event on October 5th.

(web link) The West Virginia Commission of the Arts awards an FY2009 Professional Development Grant to Lee Badger/Anvil Works to support the acquisition of specialized metal craft equipment. The grant is presented with financial assistance from West Virginia Division of Culture & History and National Endowment for the arts.
